Privacy
Paige is a small personal news reader run by Joonas Pihlajamaa for invited family and friends.
What is stored
- From your Google account: your name, email address and Google account ID. Nothing else is requested, and Paige cannot read your mail, files or contacts.
- Your interests brief: the description of what you want to read.
- Your personal engine settings, source subscriptions and preferences, and configuration revisions with their author and reason.
- Agent connections you authorize, including their granted access and hashed tokens.
- What you do in the feed: which stories you scrolled past or marked done, opened, rated or hid. Feedback is saved for review; it does not change ranking yet.
Who sees it
To score and summarise the news for you, your interests brief and the news articles are sent to AI services (OpenRouter and OpenAI). Your name, email and reading history are not. The data is stored on Cloudflare. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising, and there are no ads or trackers.
If you connect an AI assistant through MCP, it can read the engine settings and interaction history you authorize. With write access, it can add feeds and change your settings on your behalf. You can inspect its changes and revoke its connection in Your engine.
Removing your data
Ask Joonas at joonas.pihlajamaa@gmail.com and your account and everything linked to it will be deleted.
